Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles 2xLP

The 2008 self-titled debut that dragged 8-bit noise, glitch and shoegaze-blurred synth-pop into one gloriously abrasive package.

Alice Glass and Ethan Kath built a cult following on limited singles and word-of-mouth shows before this album collected "Untrust Us," "Alice Practice," "Crimewave," "Courtship Dating" and "Vanished" into a single essential statement. This Last Gang Records double LP spreads all sixteen tracks across four sides for maximum breathing room and dynamics. A landmark of late-2000s electronic music, back on wax and long overdue.
